Known from the upper reaches of Blyde River, Limpopo system, eastern Transvaal. Previously found in the Treur and Sabie rivers. Reduced to a single population which is protected by a waterfall from invading predatory fishes, particularly rainbow trout. Also Ref. 2801, 27553. |
